CHIP is a scientifiically proven intensive lifestyle intervention program with more than 50,000 graduates worldwide. Founded and presented by Dr. Hans Diehl, and endorsed by the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) and the Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI),
both headquartered in Washington, D.C., the CHIP program focuses on
reducing health care costs by reducing risk factor levels by making of better health habits and appropriate lifestyle changes. The goal is to facilitate disease reversal by lowering blood cholesterol, triglyceride and blood sugar levels by reducing excess weight, lowering high blood pressure, enhancing daily exercise, and by eliminating smoking. Risk factor levels are carefully assessed before the educational intervention begins, immediate following the completion of the 40-hour educational program, and again after three and 12 months. The results have been published in 11 scientific articles published in peer-reviewed medical journals, including the American Journal of Cardiology, the Journal of the American Diabetic Association and Preventive Medicine.

EIGER Technical Center for the Arts (TCFA) has state-of-the-art facilities for artists who wish to reduce or enlarge a model. We use the latest technologies in laser scanning and rapid prototyping to re-size your piece in a variety of materials depending on the desired density and available budget.
Digital Archiving
EIGER TCFA offers digital archiving using our laser scanner. The laser scanner can be used to capture any object as a digital file which can be used to create a model of any size using an array of rapid prototyping technologies. A mold can then be pulled from the prototype so as not to destroy the original. This is a wonderful way to preserve delicate originals.
